Where to play

Nothing to install: open vrforplay.com on your headset, computer or phone and hit “Play”.

VR headsets

Meta Quest 2, 3 and 3S, and other headsets with a WebXR browser.

  • Open vrforplay.com in the headset browser, pick a game and hit “Play in VR”.
  • Play with the headset controllers or your hands, depending on the game.
  • In the VR Lobby you pick a game without taking the headset off.
  • Snap turning and a pause menu inside the headset.

Phone + viewer

A Cardboard-style viewer or VR Box turns your phone into a headset.

  • Works on Android with Chrome. Not on iPhone: Safari doesn’t support VR yet.
  • Hit “Play in VR” and slide the phone into the viewer, in landscape.
  • A Bluetooth controller makes it much better.

Phone or tablet

No headset, on Android, iPhone and iPad.

  • In landscape: on-screen joysticks and buttons.
  • In some games you aim by moving the phone.
  • Bluetooth controllers work too.

Computer

Windows, Mac or Linux, with Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

  • Hit “Play on PC”: keyboard and mouse.
  • Console controllers work too, wired or Bluetooth.

🎮 Controller support

With a phone viewer, on your phone or on PC you can play with a console controller. On Meta Quest you use the headset controllers.

  • Connects by itself

    Pair the controller and press any button inside the game.

  • Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro

    They work with no setup, like most controllers in gamepad mode.

  • Odd controllers

    If a button doesn’t respond, use “Set up controller” in the game menu.

Before you play: follow your headset maker’s health and age guidance. Take breaks and stop if you feel dizzy, eye strain or discomfort.
Clear your play area: set up your headset’s boundary (Guardian) and move furniture, pets and people out of the way before you move around.

Your player profile

Free. Save your progress to the cloud and get on the leaderboard.

  • Cloud saves. Start on your headset and pick up on PC right where you left off.

  • Stars and coins. Each level gives up to 3 stars; every 10 earns a coin.

  • Leaderboards. Overall and per game, with your gamertag and avatar.

  • Multiple profiles. Up to 8 players per account, each with their own progress.

  • No typing on the headset. Connect your Quest with a 6-letter code.
